Founder & Principal
Jim O'Brien is a lawyer and the founder of The Connecticut Group. He has been involved in Connecticut politics and government for the last 25 years, beginning his political career as an intern on Capitol Hill while attending The Catholic University of America.

Jim also ran and was elected to the West Hartford Town Council, where he served two terms. During presidential elections, Jim has served as a Political Analyst for WFSB Channel 3 and NBC Channel 30. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan District Commission and the Advisory Board of Directors for Riverfront Recapture.
